Mount Nittany Health Foundation COVID-19 Response Fund
Mount Nittany Health Foundation has been tremendously supported by our community over many years and now, as a global pandemic impacts our region, we have created a special fund to support the fight against COVID-19. The Mount Nittany Health COVID-19 Response Fund will be used for patient care, including testing, medication, medical supplies and staff support. It will enable our clinical staff to sustain their resilience while continuing to provide safe, high-quality care to our patients and community.
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Penn State formed the Manufacturing and Sterilization for COVID-19 (MASC) Initiative, “focused on designing and delivering rapidly scalable solutions and generating tangible impact,” especially within Pennsylvania. To showcase our community’s appreciation for our doctors, nurses and hospital staff during this unprecedented time, we are pleased to announce a new virtual gratitude website, CourageousAtHeart.org. The virtual gratitude board allows community members to post their notes, images and videos of encouragement and thanks to our staff. Viewers can also share posts on the board with popular social media sites like Facebook and Instagram.
