Events

The Foundation for Mount Nittany Medical Center sponsors two major fundraising events each year—the Charity Ball and the Golf Classic. These Foundation events raise funds to support the growing healthcare needs of our region.

Each event is led by a volunteer committee, which chooses unique program opportunities at Mount Nittany Medical Center where proceeds are directed.

Giving Stories

Barbara Palmer: A Survivor's Story: Barbara Palmer has a name you may recognize: The Palmer Museum of Art on the Penn State University Park campus bears her name. It was a gift to Penn State—indeed, to the community,—from Barbara and her late husband, Jim.; This is a story about digging deep within one's soul to find strength, fortitude and the will to get up and greet each new day as an opportunity to live fully.
