Mount Nittany Health 32nd Golf Classic Play

Format:  

The event is a four-person team scramble.  All players tee off, select the ball in the most favorable position and mark it with a tee.  You will then be allowed one club length no nearer the hole.  You may not improve your lie (i.e. you may not move your ball from the rough onto the fairway or remove your ball from any hazard).  If your team selects a shot that is in a bunker, you may first rake the sand then hand place your ball within one club length no nearer the hole and proceed in any order.

Threesomes: 

Will rotate the extra shot for their group.

Drives:

No one player may use more than 8 drives, including par 3’s.

Bogey Rule: 

No team can score higher than BOGEY on any single hole. If your team reaches the score of bogey, please record a bogey on the scorecard and move on to the next hole.

GIMMIES: 

From the bottom of the flagstick to the end of the blue stripe is considered holed, remember to count the stroke. (Basically within 2 feet)

Tees: 

Men will play from the WHITE tee markers.  Men 65 and over may play from the GOLD tee markers.  Women may play from the RED tee markers.

Scoring: 

Upon completion of play please total up your team’s score and turn in the OFFICIAL SCORECARD to the pro shop front desk and return your golf cart along the flower bed in the parking lot. ANY TEAM PLAYING MORE THAN 18 HOLES IS SUBJECT TO DISQUALIFICATION!

Carts: 

Please scatter your golf carts throughout the course.  Please obey all posted directional signs, and keep your carts at least 30 feet away from all tees, greens & mounds.

Dangerous Weather: 

If you hear one loud siren blast, seek shelter ASAP.  Three short blasts is all clear to continue play.  Please do not leave the golf course until there is final word that the tournament is cancelled due to inclement weather.
