The 4th Annual Pink Ribbon Golf Classic, held Monday, September 11, at Toftrees Golf Resort and Conference Center, raised $19,105. The proceeds from this women’s-only event – which attracted 102 golfers – support renovations at Mount Nittany Health Breast Care Center. In total, more than $85,000 has been raised to help advance breast healthcare in the region since its inception in 2014.

“It was a great privilege to thank these women personally and to share with them the power of their gift. The renovations will include a private space, created by a portion of the proceeds, and will provide a calm private environment for patients and their support systems as they await specific procedures. I look forward to sharing with my patients the story of a group of women who wanted to make a difference for them,” says Angelique Cygan RN, breast health navigator, Mount Nittany Medical Center.

Team prizes for each flight were awarded to the top teams placing first and second in both net and gross scores.
