Join us for A Glamorous Evening in Old Hollywood at the 70th Annual Mount Nittany Medical Center Charity Ball


Mount Nittany Health Foundation will hold the 70th Annual Mount Nittany Medical Center Charity Ball on Saturday, February 24, 2018, at The Penn Stater Hotel and Conference Center. The event, titled A Glamorous Evening in Old Hollywood, benefits palliative care services at the Medical Center.

Beginning at 7:00 pm, guests will be treated to Old Hollywood-themed food stations until 9:00 pm. An open bar will be available from 7:00 to 8:30 pm, switching to a cash bar through the remainder of the evening. From 7:30 pm to midnight, the Charity Ball will once again feature the music of crowd favorite, EBE Entertainment’s Monte Carlo.

An online silent auction, held through Bidding for Good, will go live Monday, Feb. 12, at 8:00 am, and close Monday, Feb. 26, at noon. Bidders will have the opportunity to bid on items such as deluxe vacations, weekend getaways, sports memorabilia, glamorous packages and much more. New this year is a live auction where bidders will have a chance to win a luxury, weeklong vacation. Members can bid on this package on the online auction website and bidding will continue at the Charity Ball. The winner will be announced that evening. To learn more, visit

Again this year, the Charity Ball committee will hold the Mercedes-Benz European Driving Adventure, courtesy of Mercedes-Benz of State College. This trip includes round-trip airfare for two from Philadelphia or Newark, New Jersey, and the opportunity to spend five nights/six days in first-class accommodations with a self-guided tour through the Black Forest Alps of Germany into the Austrian Alps, in a luxurious Mercedes-Benz. This package also includes a Mercedes-Benz factory tour and lunch.
