Mount Nittany Health Foundation is proud to again be partnering with the State College Spikes to help raise money for breast cancer awareness and honor survivors and those battling the disease. The annual Paint the Park Pink night will be held on Sunday, July 22, at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park.
Held annually and sponsored by Mount Nittany Health, all proceeds will benefit the Foundation, which supports the advancement of healthcare available to the community. The Foundation will designate all the money it receives from this game to the Mount Nittany Health Breast Care Center.
The Spikes’ players will wear special jerseys during the game in support of the fight against breast cancer, which fans can then bid on during a silent auction. The first 1,000 fans through the gates will receive a special Pink Sunrise “shirtsey” – a replicate t-shirt of the players jerseys. The first pitch is at 6:05 pm, but the gates will open early for pregame activities.
