Golf Classic 2022

Thank you to the 234 golfers who attended the 32nd Annual Mount Nittany Health Foundation Golf Classic! Together, we helped raise over $129,000 to increase access to care for those in our community who need it most.

“This year’s attendance was extraordinary,” said Wendy Garlock, Mount Nittany Health Foundation Interim Executive Director. “Together, we raised nearly $130,000 to help provide our community with specialty care, close to home.”

The funds raised will support expanding and updating the physical therapy space in Mount Nittany Health’s new Outpatient Center being built in Toftrees West. The state-of-the-art unit will allow for new treatment options and therapies, increased capacity to serve more in our community, improved staff/patient interactions, and overall patient experience.

This support continues a legacy of generosity from donors who have helped the Mount Nittany Health Foundation Golf Classic raise more than $3 million since the original Golf Classic teed off in 1991.

One of the most exciting aspects of this year’s Golf Classic was the raffle for the chance to win a brand new 2023 Subaru Crosstrek. Congratulations are in order for Rick Lies, who won this year’s raffle! Rick also supported the event as a foursome sponsor.

“Thank you to all of the generous golfers, sponsors, donors, and volunteers who came together to make this year’s Golf Classic so special,” Wendy said. “We look forward to seeing you all back next year.”

The Mount Nittany Health Foundation Golf Classic will return to the Penn State Golf Courses next year on Friday, September 29, 2023.
