Mount Nittany Health is pleased to announce the addition of Jason Schweichler, DO, to Mount Nittany Physician Group Family Medicine at its Mount Nittany Health – Penns Valley location.

“My goal is to work in collaboration with my patients to promote their health and wellbeing,” says Dr. Schweichler. “I help patients better understand their medical conditions and treatment options. Preventative lifestyle measures are encouraged as these can be very effective to prevent, treat, and in some cases reverse diseases. Once you understand the risk factors and how these affect your health, we can then set lifestyle goals that can make a big impact on quality of life and life expectancy.”

Dr. Schweichler earned his bachelor’s degree in pre-medicine biology from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania and his medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency in osteopathic family medicine at Clarion Hospital in Clarion, Pennsylvania.

Outside of the office, Dr. Schweichler enjoys spending time with his wife, family and friends.
