Golf Classic 2022

Mount Nittany Health Foundation had an incredibly successful 2022. Between January 1st and December 31st, the Foundation received 1,118 gifts. These gifts, along with other fundraising efforts, resulted in a grand total gift amount of $1,018,578.93.

One of our signature fundraising events is the annual Charity Ball, now celebrating its 75th year. In 2022, the event raised $120,000 for Mount Nittany Health’s Women and Children’s Services. The Charity Ball is a night of elegance and entertainment featuring live music, delicious food, and a silent auction. It is a beloved community event that continues to be a major contributor to the Foundation's fundraising efforts. The event saw more than 300 attendees and marks the first time it was held outdoors in its 74-year history.

Another major fundraising event for the Mount Nittany Health Foundation is the Golf Classic. In 2022, this event raised $129,000. The Golf Classic is a day of fun, friendship, and philanthropy. This Golf Classic allows the community to come together and support the important work of the Mount Nittany Health Foundation. Proceeds from this year’s event will support expanding and updating the physical therapy space in Mount Nittany Health’s new Outpatient Center being built in Toftrees West.

All the funds raised by the Mount Nittany Health Foundation are used to support Mount Nittany Health’s mission, “Healthier People, Stronger Community.” The Foundation provides funding for state-of-the-art medical equipment, education and training for medical staff, and programs and services that support the overall health and well-being of the community.

The Mount Nittany Health Foundation is incredibly grateful for the community’s support. The generosity of donors, sponsors, and volunteers makes it possible for the Foundation to make a difference in the lives of so many people. The Foundation would like to thank everyone who contributed to the success of the Charity Ball and Golf Classic and all the other fundraising efforts in 2022.
