Mount Nittany Health is pleased to announce that Adrienne Krasowitz has been named executive director of Mount Nittany Health Foundation.

“We are excited to announce that Adrienne is joining the Mount Nittany Health team,” said Kathleen Rhine, President and CEO, Mount Nittany Health. “As Executive Director, she will lead the Foundation’s efforts in engaging with our local community and supporting our mission of ‘Healthier People. Stronger Community.’"

Most recently, Krasowitz served as Director of Major Gifts at Penn State University in the College of Health and Human Development (HHD). Prior to joining HHD, Krasowitz served in the Office of Foundation Relations brokering philanthropic resources from national and regional foundations to support the University. Before joining Penn State, Krasowitz enjoyed a career in New York and Chicago spanning the nonprofit sector. She brings a background in direct service program design and delivery, as well as policy advocacy and nonprofit management. Krasowitz has held positions at a variety of nonprofits, including Corporation for Supportive Housing, Chicago Jobs Council, The Rockefeller Foundation, and Columbia University. 

“I’m so excited to join Mount Nittany Health Foundation and lead this wonderful team,” said Krasowitz. “I look forward to engaging with the hospital community, its donors and the people we serve to further the Foundation’s visibility and impact.”

Krasowitz earned her Bachelor of Arts degree Magna Cum Laude from New York University where she was a member of their varsity women’s fencing team.

Krasowitz and her family have been members of the State College Community since 2001, and she currently serves on the Centre Safe Board of Directors. For stress relief, she is an avid swimmer and occasional baker.
