Volunteer Program Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Does Mount Nittany Health require volunteers to be vaccinated against COVID-19?
A: Yes, you are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 in order to volunteer at Mount Nittany Health.

Q: What does fully vaccinated mean?
A:
To be considered fully vaccinated, volunteers will have completed the primary vaccination series (1 dose of Johnson & Johnson, or two doses of Pfizer or Moderna)

Q: What serves as proof of vaccination?
A: You can submit a legible scan or photo of your CDC COVID-19 Vaccination card, documentation from a health care provider or electronic health record, or a state immunization information system record as proof of your vaccination.  This can be emailed to mtb0523@mountnittany.org, mailed or hand-delivered to:

Q: If I served as a volunteer previously, why do I need to reapply?
A: Because it has been nearly two years since volunteer services have been fully operational, we will need all volunteers to reapply to ensure we are compliant with hospital regulations.  Everyone will be required to participate in an orientation/annual education session.
