One of the many examples of Mount Nittany Health’s commitment to provide exceptional care is the Joseph V. and Suzanne P. Paterno Women and Children’s Unit, the largest unit in the region, with dedicated medical and nursing teams, serving women's healthcare, pediatric patients and welcoming more than 1,300 newborns every year.

The 30th Annual Mount Nittany Health Golf Classic was held Saturday, August 8, at the Penn State Golf Courses. A total of 124 safely hit the links during the socially-distanced event, raising just over $123,000.

Mount Nittany Health’s commitment to community health is embodied by its mission statement: We are here to make people healthier. Every three years, Mount Nittany Health conducts a Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) to understand the most pressing health and wellness concerns for the community. Obesity and diabetes were identified as priorities through the 2019 CHNA.
