The 30th Annual Mount Nittany Health Golf Classic was held Saturday, August 8, at the Penn State Golf Courses. A total of 124 safely hit the links during the socially-distanced event, raising just over $123,000. Proceeds will support the Mount Nittany Health COVID-19 Response Fund and other areas of the health system. The Response Fund is used for patient care, including testing, medication, medical supplies and staff support.

Having raised more than $2.8 million since its inception in 1991, the Golf Classic supports critical programs and equipment purchases at Mount Nittany Medical Center, benefiting patients across the region.

“A sincere thank you to all those who came together to support Mount Nittany Health during this unprecedented time in our community and around the world,” said Simon Corby, executive director, Mount Nittany Health Foundation. “As we continue to work together to protect our patients and community, we are grateful to know we can count on you to champion the health system in its efforts to provide the quality, compassionate care on which you, our neighbors, have come to rely.”
