When sudden and severe illnesses affect you and your family, Medical Nittany Medical Center emergency department stands ready to provide needed care 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Our dedicated physicians, nurses and specialty staff are trained to respond to any emergency medical situation. Additionally, the Medical Center's emergency medical services department includes a 24-hour paramedic service that responds to emergencies like cardiac and respiratory problems, strokes, diabetes complications and trauma-related incidents.

Mount Nittany Health is now offering emergency telehealth visits. Expert care from trusted emergency medicine providers is available for new and existing patients of all ages for common acute care issues such as headaches, urinary tract infections, seasonal allergies, pink eye, upset stomach, rash/skin issues and other urgent care needs. Available on demand, 24/7, these visits are conducted through the use of a mobile device or computer. As "two-way" visits, patients and providers can see and hear one another throughout the visit.
