During Penn State basketball's Team Ream Day, the Team Ream Board of Directors presented Melissa Aungst, senior gift officer, Mount Nittany Health Foundation, with a check for $30,000. This incredible gift will help cancer patients afford their treatments and live more comfortably as they navigate their cancer journey.

Samantha Ream Haas, executive director, Team Ream explains, "Team Ream is all too familiar with the challenges faced by cancer patients and their families. We are focusing on making life a little easier for patients by easing the everyday stress of fighting cancer. We are proud to partner with Mount Nittany Health Foundation to help patients and cancer survivors focus on getting better."

The Fund provides financial assistance to help defray the unpredictable and sometimes overwhelming cost of treatment. With the addition of this gift Team Ream has donated over $226,000 to Mount Nittany Health Foundation's Team Ream Fund.

"We are delighted to partner with Team Ream," shares Simon Corby, executive director of Mount Nittany Health Foundation. "Their generosity has touched thousands of lives over the years, providing comfort to those facing this challenging disease."

Mount Nittany Health oncology patient navigators continue to share that having these funds available to help patients with expenses associated with their care has an immeasurable impact on a cancer patient's journey. It is evident that these funds ease their burden.

At Mount Nittany Health Foundation we are grateful for all the donations from individuals and organizations, including Team Ream, who help us provide comprehensive, compassionate, and state-of-the-art cancer care.
