The 69th Annual Mount Nittany Medical Center Charity Ball, A Starlit Evening on the Serengeti will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at The Penn Stater Hotel and Conference Center. This year’s proceeds will benefit the Children’s Advocacy Center of Centre County, Mount Nittany Health.
The mission of the Children’s Advocacy Center of Centre County, Mount Nittany Health, is to meet the needs of the children and families in our region by providing a community-based, child-focused center that facilitates a compassionate, multi-disciplinary approach to the prevention, identification, intervention and treatment of child abuse.
The primary focus is on the well-being of the child, making him or her feel safe and secure so that they can share account of abuse allegations and begin their journey to healing.
The Children’s Advocacy Center is nationally accredited by the National Children’s Alliance. The proceeds from the Charity Ball will protect and support the most vulnerable people in our communities – our children.
