The Soroptimist Golf Classic is scheduled for Monday, September 9, at Toftrees Resort and Golf Club.

The tournament is sponsored by Soroptimist International of Centre County—a volunteer organization made up of business and professional women dedicated to helping other women. To date, Soroptimist International of Centre County has raised more than a quarter of a million dollars to benefit organizations that support women and children at risk in our community.

Proceeds from this tournament will partially benefit the Children’s Advocacy Center of Centre County, Mount Nittany Health through the Mount Nittany Health Foundation.  The Children’s Advocacy Center serves children with reports of abuse or neglect, and those who may have witnessed abuse. Through a child-centered approach, the Center is a safe and friendly place where children, families and all parties involved in the intervention and investigative process can work in partnership.
